Which Disney park is best for little kids?

Magic Kingdom, by a distance. In our attraction records, 28 of the 49 rides we cover at the four parks have no height requirement, and most of them are here:

• Magic Kingdom — 16 of 23
• EPCOT — 7 of 11
• Animal Kingdom — 3 of 6
• Hollywood Studios — 2 of 9

Hollywood Studios is the park where a small child sits out most, which is when Rider Switch earns its keep. Our toddler ride list gives every ride with Disney's own warnings, and the height checker sorts them by your child's height.

Do toddlers need a Disney World ticket?

Not under three. Children under 3 need no ticket and no park reservation, AllEars explains, and Disney's planDisney panel gives the same age bands: 3 to 9 pay the child price, and 10 and over pay the adult price.

The child price is barely lower. On the 2026 chart a one-day child ticket is $121 to $217 with tax, against $127 to $223 for an adult: about $5 less.⁸ Budget a three-year-old as a full ticket.

What is Rider Switch, and which rides have it?

The way two adults both ride something the child cannot. One adult rides while the other waits with the child, then the second adult rides without queuing again, Disney says. At most two people from the waiting group ride on the switch.

In our records it is offered on 22 rides: 6 at Magic Kingdom, 5 at EPCOT, 7 at Hollywood Studios and 4 at Animal Kingdom. Ask the cast member at the entrance. Our Rider Switch guide lists all of them, with how long the second rider typically waits.

Where can you feed and change a baby at Disney World?

At the Baby Care Center in each of the four parks, free to use and open during park hours, Disney says. Each has nursing rooms, changing tables, a feeding area with high chairs and a kitchenette with a microwave and sink, and sells diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and sunscreen.

They are also where a lost child is taken: a cast member walks them there and stays with them until a parent arrives, so tell children to find someone in a Disney name tag. Water parks, resorts and Disney Springs have changing stations in most restrooms instead.

Should you rent or bring a stroller?

Disney rents single strollers for $15 a day, or $13 a day paid for the length of the stay, and doubles for $31, or $27, its page says. A rented stroller stays in the park, and your receipt gets a replacement at the next park on a park-hopping day.

How do you plan a Disney day around naps?

Go early and leave in the middle of the day. Resort guests enter every park 30 minutes early, Disney says, and in our wait records the middle of the day is when most queues peak: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train averaged 50 minutes at midday against 33 in the last hour.

A hotel nap then an evening return works well, but the fireworks run late: Happily Ever After is at 9:30 p.m. in late September 2026, 9:00 in October and 8:00 in November, and not on party nights. Our one-day guides set out the order.
