Where to meet characters at Disney World
The short answer
Disney lists 39 character meet-and-greets across the four parks, none of them on Lightning Lane. The longest posted lines in our own 18-day record are at Royal Sommerhus (36 min), Red Carpet Dreams (33 min) and Pete's Silly Sideshow (30 min). 26 never post a wait, so judge those in person. The meeting you can book is a character meal; 11 have pages here.
How meet-and-greets work
A meet is a queue that ends in a photo and a moment with the character. Disney runs them at set places and hours, and a character can step away for a break, so the posted wait is a guide rather than a promise. None is on Lightning Lane on Disney’s own list. Check the app on the day for hours.
