Where do Disney cruises go?

Disney Cruise Line sails from eleven home ports between now and spring 2028, in North America, Europe and Asia. Florida is the base all year; the other ports are seasonal, and the ship you can sail depends on where you board.

Disney's three itinerary announcements of 19 August 2025, 10 February 2026 and 25 August 2026 set out everything below, and The Disney Cruise Line Blog's sailing-by-sailing lists agree with them except where the last section says otherwise.

What does each Disney itinerary cost at opening?

Short sailings from Singapore, San Diego and Florida start lowest, and Europe and a week in the Caribbean cost the most. The Disney Cruise Line Blog recorded the opening-day fare for one named sailing of each kind below, for two adults, for the whole cruise, with taxes, fees and port expenses included.

Each row is one sailing on one day, not the cheapest date in the region, and prices move after opening.

Alaska has the widest gap between cabin types in the table. On both Alaska sailings a verandah costs almost twice the inside fare, where on the Mediterranean week the step is about a fifth. For Southampton, WDW News Today listed starting prices from $2,228 for three nights to Belgium to $7,141 for seven nights in the Norwegian fjords.

Which Disney cruises go to the Bahamas?

Most of them. Three- to five-night Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale are the core of Disney's schedule, on the Wish, Fantasy, Dream and Destiny, and nearly all call at one or both of Disney's islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, with Nassau on many.

From November 2027 the Wish, Treasure and Destiny are all based at Port Canaveral, which Disney describes as three Wish-class ships there at once.

Some sailings visit both islands. Disney's Wish itinerary page lists four-night sailings to Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay with a day at sea, and calls them what fans call double-dip sailings.

Others stop twice at Castaway Cay: Disney names a six-night Dream sailing from Fort Lauderdale and a six-night Treasure sailing, which The Disney Cruise Line Blog dates to 22 November 2027 and 9 January 2028. Our island comparison helps if you are choosing between them.

The Bahamas from Texas takes a week. The Disney Magic's seven-night Bahamian cruises from Galveston call at Nassau and Castaway Cay, and select 2027–28 dates add Lookout Cay, Disney says.

Which Caribbean itineraries does Disney sail?

Three, and the ship decides which. The Disney Treasure alternates seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral all year, and on The Disney Cruise Line Blog's 2026–27 list every one ends at Castaway Cay. The Destiny sails four- to seven-night Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale until it moves to Port Canaveral in November 2027.

The Fantasy adds Western Caribbean sailings to Cozumel from Port Canaveral, and Eastern Caribbean ones from Fort Lauderdale in 2027–28.

Western Caribbean means Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Falmouth from Florida, and Cozumel and Progreso from Galveston. Eastern Caribbean means St. Thomas, Tortola and San Juan, with St. Maarten and Puerto Plata on the Fort Lauderdale weeks. Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic, was a first for Disney in the 2026–27 season.

The Southern Caribbean sails from San Juan. The Dream sails one seven-night round trip from Puerto Rico on 16 April 2027, the Wish one on 5 November 2027, and the Fantasy three between December 2027 and May 2028, calling at islands such as Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Barbados and Antigua. The Fantasy also sails a 10-night Southern Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral in July 2027.

Does Disney Cruise Line sail from Galveston?

Yes, in winter. The Disney Magic sails from Galveston from November 2026 to April 2027 and again from November 2027 to March 2028, on four- and five-night Western Caribbean cruises to Progreso and Cozumel and seven-night Bahamian cruises. It arrives and leaves each season through the Panama Canal on 14-night one-way cruises to and from San Diego, which our repositioning guide lists date by date.

Galveston is seasonal, not year-round. Reader comments on The Disney Cruise Line Blog's 2027 lists ask what happened to year-round Texas sailings; we found no Disney statement that ever promised them. Disney does say that two seven-night Galveston sailings from January 2027 carry a Marvel Day at Sea for the first time.

Where do Disney cruises go from the West Coast?

Alaska in summer and Mexico the rest of the year. The Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic both sail seven-night Alaska cruises from Vancouver from May to September 2027, as in 2026, and the Magic adds one six-night and one eight-night sailing, Disney says. From autumn both ships move to San Diego, the only California port Disney uses. Disney's San Diego list of 18 September 2026 describes three- and four-night Baja cruises to Catalina Island and Ensenada, five- and six-night cruises that add Cabo San Lucas, and seven-night cruises that could add Mazatlán or Puerto Vallarta. The Wonder stays until early May; the Magic leaves in November for Galveston.

Four- and five-night Pacific Coast cruises move the ships between Vancouver and San Diego.

Disney's dates for the Magic's San Diego season disagree with each other. Its August 2025 announcement put the Magic in California in October and November 2026; its own later San Diego list starts the Magic's sailings on 21 September 2026. The later list, and The Disney Cruise Line Blog's, is the one to plan by.

Where does Disney sail in Europe?

From Barcelona, Civitavecchia and Southampton, in summer only, and on one ship at a time. The Disney Dream spent summer 2026 there and left Southampton on 14 September 2026 to cross back to Fort Lauderdale.

In 2027 it is the Disney Wish, the first Wish-class ship to be based in Europe: it crosses from Port Canaveral to Barcelona on 25 April, and its season runs to 20 sailings, counting that crossing, before it leaves Southampton for New York on 17 September.

From Barcelona and Civitavecchia, in May to July 2027, the Wish sails six- to ten-night Mediterranean, Greek Isles and Adriatic cruises. From Southampton, from late July, it sails three- to seven-night cruises to the Norwegian fjords, Northern Europe, Spain and the British Isles. Disney names three ports it has never visited: Zadar in Croatia, Trieste in Italy and Hellesylt in Norway.

Where does the Disney Adventure sail?

From Singapore, all year, on three- and four-night cruises. Disney's largest ship began sailing from Marina Bay Cruise Centre on 10 March 2026, three months after the December 2025 start Disney first announced. Most of its cruises are all at sea: the ship is the destination.

Langkawi, Malaysia is its first port of call, on select four-night sailings from 31 December 2026. Disney's blog says through May 2027, but The Disney Cruise Line Blog's list also has Langkawi sailings from October to December 2027, and Disney's own press release gives no end date. Disney has announced Adventure sailings as far as 30 December 2027 and nothing after.

What has Disney announced for 2027 and early 2028?

Disney has published itineraries as far as May 2028, in two releases. The newest, on 25 August 2026, covers autumn 2027 to spring 2028. In order of sailing:

New York returns after an absence since 2023, Disney says. Summer 2028 itineraries have not been announced for any ship, though The Disney Cruise Line Blog's list sends the Magic and the Wonder back north to Vancouver in April and May 2028.

Which new Disney ships are coming, and where will they sail?

Four are confirmed, and none has a published itinerary yet. The Disney Believe, the fourth Wish-class ship, sails in late 2027 according to Disney's ship log of 18 September 2026, which does not name its home port; DCL Fan reports a reveal on 7 October 2026.

A Wish-class sister will sail from Japan year-round from 2029, built for Disney's partner Oriental Land Co. and operated by it under the Disney name.

Disney has also shown a new, smaller class, bigger than the Disney Wonder but smaller than the Disney Wish, which it says will visit new places. DCL Fan, WDW News Today and CruiseMapper all report, from a graphic Disney released with its August 2026 results, two of them in 2029 and one in 2030.

We could not retrieve that graphic, so the timeline is the outlets' reading of it.

Does Disney Cruise Line still sail from Miami, Australia or Hawaii?

No, from none of them, on anything announced to May 2028. Disney sailed the Dream from Miami in 2022, and Magic Guides reported in February 2026 that no Miami departures are scheduled. New Orleans last saw a Disney departure on 1 March 2024, the same outlet says.

The Wonder's third Australia and New Zealand season ended in February 2026, and Disney told Cruise Industry News it would not return for 2026–27, though the region remains a strong consideration for the future.

Hawaii has appeared only on the Wonder's one-way crossings to and from Australia in 2025 and 2026. Los Angeles, Hawaii, the Canary Islands and New Orleans are absent from every Disney announcement we read for late 2026 to spring 2028.

Where do Disney's own announcements disagree?

In five places that matter to a booking, and Disney's later, more detailed list is usually the one to trust.

The Wish page also prints two impossible date ranges, which is a sign it was updated in pieces. None of these changes where a ship goes; they change which dates are on sale.
